Staying at Santa Margherita Ligure

How close is this resort to Portofino and how near is it to the sea or beach - which one. re Hotel Jolanda.

Santa Margherita Ligure is very close to Portofino at about 5/6km away. There are bus services that connect the two towns or if you are fond of walking you take the coastal road along the sea winding its way towards Paraggi and Portofino. Its a lovely walk and let's you take in the beauty of the place.

In addition to Portofino, if you have the time we also recommend you plan a trip to San Fruttoso . It's such a unique spot to visit, I am sure you will love it.

As to Hotel Jolanda, it's about 100 yards from the sea and the local beaches. There are lots of private beaches to choose from as well as some free ones in between them.
