Sep 17-18, 2011 - Do not miss the second edition of Sagra della Polenta

Due to the bad weather and heavy rain at the beginning of September, the Sagra della Polenta and the “Rassegna Arcola e i suoi vini” had to close its doors a day early.

The volunteers at ARCI Baccano are not giving up though and will hold a second edition of the Sagra on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th, at Villa Picedi in Baccano.

This is a great chance to enjoy the perfect culinary marriage between the wine and gastronomic products typical of the area. On offer are the following food options: polenta
with goat meat, wild boar, cod, cheese and cold meats, or simply fried polenta as well as delicious local desserts.

The dishes will be accompanied by scented wines from the cellar of Count Picedi: the excellent red wine “Gran Baccano”, Vermentino and "Ruzzese" , the Arcola's native wine.
