San Terenzo Parking and Traffic Restrictions

San Terenzo parking and traffic restrictions differ between the low and high seasons as well as weekdays and weekends so it pays off to know how they work.

In the low season between the months of September to June, traffic in San Terenzo is only restricted on Saturdays and Holidays between the hours of 8:00am to 7pm. During this time there are paying meter parking spots at "Vallata" and "Bagnara", along with a FREE BUS service (Saturdays from 8am to 7pm; Sundays and Holidays from 11am to 7pm).

This means that during weekdays you can freely drive through San Terenzo and park at the Venera Azzura parking area (seafront) while the parking spots at "Vallata" and "Bagnara” are free of charge. Motorcycle and bike riders also have free access.

In the high season between the months of June to September, the urban centre of San Terenzo becomes a restricted area all day and night. You will require a pass in order to drive through and park in the area. If you do not have a Pass, you may park your vehicle in the meter parking at "Vallata" and "Bagnara" (outside of the urban center of Lerici and San Terenzo).

It is possible to obtain a "temporary pass" at the information center at the "Vallata" meter parking area which is opened between 9.00 to 13.00 and 15.00 to 21.00.

Motorcycle and bike riders are allowed freely and the parking for them is marked by the parking spaces with the horizontal road markings.

If you are a guest of a hotel or bed and breakfast in San Terenzo, it is likely that they can issue you personalised parking passes to use at specific parking spots at the Venere Azzura paking area. Make sure you check with them the details before you travel.
