Leonardo DiCaprio takes Blake Lively for some sightseeing in Portofino Italy

Portofino in the province of Genoa in Italy has always been a favourite holiday destination to the risk and famous. Who can resist the beauty of this tiny village , with its pastel tower-houses crowded around its charming harbor.

The sea waters here are crystal clear and reveal a rich display of aquatic life. The village itself while rather small still offers a great choice of shops from the expensive boutiques to the cheap souvenir shops as well as lots of restaurants, cafes, and luxury hotels to relax in.

There is the Brown Castle to visit which sits high above the harbour overlooking the village. The area also offers lots of opportunities for hiking, diving, and sailing...

Just this week, May 22nd 2011, visiting this beautiful spot of Liguria were Leonardo DiCaprio and rumoured new girlfriend Blake Lively.

They were seen strolling along the alleyways of Portofino and enjoying a spot of sightseeing in the beautiful weater. The pair were first seen together the week before during the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France, on a boat moored near the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in the company of Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw...

It seems that this was a Portofino-first for the rumoured couple. Will we see them next year? ;-)
