B&B La Casa del Pescatore is located amongst the beautiful nature of the Island of Palmaria , just a short ferry ride from the port of the ancient town of Portovenere .

The Island of Palmaria is the most popular and visited of the three islands part of the Archipelago in the Gulf of La Spezia, both by tourists and locals. The island is a protected area since 1997, when the Island of Palmaria with Tino and Tinetto , Portovenere and the Cinque Terre , have been included in the UNESCO world heritage list . The island offers variety of hiking trails and stunning natural beauty: untouched beaches, ragged cliffs, clear blue waters, natural vegetation and caves that can only be reached by boat.

The building of La Casa del Pescatore is made of local grey stones, with a charming terrace and green garden grounds . Inside, the property offers a large living room area with french windows overlooking the terrace and garden of the property, affording lots of light and spectacular views. There are three fully restored double bedrooms which can be rented separately, for a stay in style and comfort, each with its own private bathroom.

Palmaria Room is located off the living room area. It is a spacious and brightly decorated room offering charming views, over the green landscape of the island and the Gulf of Poets. It accomodates two people in a double-bed and has a private bathroom with shower, right next to the bedroom...

Tino Room is located also off the living room area. It is a comfortable room which accomodates two people. It offers great views of the Gulf of Poets and the lush nature of the island. There is a double bed and a private bathroom with shower...

Tinetto Room is located on the souterrain of the building. There are stairs leading you down to the bedroom from the living room area or there is a private entrance to the room accessible from the gate of the property grounds. The room accomodates two people and has en-suit bathroom with shower. It might not have the views of the other two rooms but makes for a cousy and private stay...

But perhaps the feature of the B&B is its spacious terrace and green garden. You as a guest have the full use of the area and it makes for a great place to relax, sip your aperitivo and watch the sunset over the San Pietro Church in Portovenere...

Notes

The Island can be reached by private boats or ferry services from La Spezia or Portovenere. The ferry service in Portovenere departs from Molo Doria and costs just 4 euros return and takes 5 mins to cross. There are boats going back and forth every 15 mins but note that the last boat ride from Palmaria is at 7pm. If you need to get to the mainland/island after 7pm, the owner can take you with his private boat.

No extra charge for cleaning on departure but the owner expects for the residence to be left in clean condition. Towels are changed every 2 days, linen is changed every 3 days.

Arrival time is after 2:00pm .

Check Out time is before 12:00am .

Animals are allowed to stay in the property.
