Lerici Hiking Trails
Walking the Lerici hiking trails is an amazing way to get better acquainted with the natural beauty of this part of Liguria. Much of the territory of the municipality of Lerici is in fact part of the Regional Natural Park of Montemarcello-Magra. The area thus attracts visitors not only for its beaches , but also for the variety of beautiful nature trails.
Last year a new initiative called "Walking wonder"
was created dedicated to organising guided of the trails and promoting the pleasure of walking in the beautiful landscapes of the hills, with unique panoramic views over the bay of Lerici while offering the opportunity to observe and learn about the wonderful nature of the Park Regional Natural Montemarcello-Magra.
The latest guided walk is on Sunday, June 26, 2011
and is dedicated to "Discovering the Golden Butterfly"
- a natural phenomenon formed when the sunlight penetrates through an opening between the rocks creating an image of a "golden butterfly". The tour is guided by Prof. Calzolari.PATH:
