Deiva Marina is preparing to stage its Living Nativity, tomorrow January 6, 2011. Bolstered by the active participation of the town's inhabitants, the Living Nativity owes its charm to the perfect evocation of life's daily moments of the period. There is a special atmosphere to enjoy along the alleyways of the old town lit by dim lights' at dusk, from the farmer who sells the product of his work in the fields to the rich merchant, the potter, the carpenter, the basket-maker and bookbinder working using ancient instruments, and even the blacksmith who strikes the anvil with his hammer, trying to materialize a form from the hot metal.

And so, walking through the ancient streets with typical houses and colorful towers, you can encounter shepherds and folk, to soldiers on horseback and simple craftsmen, but most importantly asted the old culinary delicacies of Liguria, prepared according to recipes jealously guarded from generation to generation.

The event is scheduled for tomorrow January 6, 2011 in downtown Deiva, starting at 15.00. In case of rain the event will be postponed to January 9 days with the same time.
