Chance for children to explore the secrets of Egypt in Castello San Giorgio
In the following Sundays - December 19 and January 23 from 3pm to 5pm - the Museum of the Castello di San Giorgio is organizing a play day dedicated to the discovery of ancient Egypt.
In light of the held exhibition "In the Footsteps of Champollion: Archaeology, views and experiences of travel in the Nile Valley," the museum will offer the possibility for children aged between 5 and 11 years to become explorers "travel" in search of traces of Egyptian history. Younger explorers will also have the chance to discover the tomb of a pharaoh.
At the end of the day, they will have created a pharaoh’s mask to take home as a reminder of a very special day.
